Aakash institute wanted to grow its online presence and help students through online modes of education too. They were eyeing for the long term and wanted an SEO strategy to be executed for them to rank on Google.

The NEET exam was coming up in five months and the results needed to be quick and effective. 1702 Digital was given the responsibility of conducting a complete SEO campaign for them relying on the robust education ecosystem they had built over the years. The objective of the campaign was to get students to register for their online classes through their website organically.

Our Results

Now, with all these efforts, we saw a 200% increase in the number of non-branded keywords in the top 5 within the first 3 months itself of onboarding them. Their organic traffic increased more than 25% on average, keeping the bounce rate below a mean of 23% throughout 2020. With the help of on-point content on their web pages, the pages/session was 3.2 and the CTR value was 10% as a median. The campaign was a huge success because we revived their online presence with organic traffic which boosted their educational courses sales during the pandemic.

What makes this client’s execution truly unique?

Starting with the execution of the campaign, we did on-page SEO of their website with contextual interlinking and redirection of their blogs to relevant pages. Including high volume and low competition keywords into their web pages was one of our important tasks. Ranking their website locally, was crucial for them to get noticed and take advantage of their offline presence. We know this will boost their brand recall value. So, we added 50 city level pages for them to start ranking locally. Creating high-quality backlinks was our next task. We found out relevant websites in the education field which are not competitors to AESL to create 300 quality backlinks a month for them. We made sure that the domain authority of these websites was over 30 and were in a similar niche as AESL. Talking about ways to drive more traffic through off-page SEO, we optimized their YouTube videos with metatags and keywords that people are searching for to take more students to their website. We recommended keywords with high volume and low competition for their blogs and wrote 100 answers for their Quora account to drive organic traffic.
